OBAMA FOR THE LITTLE GUY

SAY “NO” STOPS BILLS FROM PROGRESSING

How have we been convinced that the extremely wealthy should not be required to help get the country back on track by contributing their fair share? It is time that we read the fine print and wake up to the financial realities facing us all.

Banks and big corporations are not releasing money to correct the unemployment problem.

And it’s a sad day when a political party will not let a bill see the light of day. The party of “no” simply wants to see the president fail, and most recently on his proposed job creation bill.

President Barack Obama is one of the few who actually has the interests of the little guy at heart. He wants more jobs for building highways, roads and bridges and rapid rail systems and schools.

Yet we stubbornly refuse to act as the silent majority to promote our best interest by letting those in Washington, D.C. know that we have a voice.

Let’s not wait until one of government programs that is cut as a result of not bringing in new revenues is the one that affects us personally.
