Just when I thought he couldn’t sink any lower, Mitt Romney goes and tells an even bigger whopper than the last huge lie about President Obama.

In an effort to stop the Republican effort to deny registered voters their right at the polls, the Obama campaign filed suit in Ohio against a Republican scheme to eliminate early voting rights for every voter who isn’t in the military. The suit is designed to protect the rights of our military service members and restore the same right to every single voter in Ohio, as our laws and constitution demands.

Mitt Romney falsely claimed President Obama’s intent in this lawsuit was the exact opposite of the truth. That is, according to Romney, the lawsuit’s purpose is to deny military service members the right to vote. Fox featured a parade of leading Republicans on their TV station who repeated the brazen lie without challenge.

It is not enough that Romney flip flops on issues and has no sound economic recovery plan for our nation, but he lies about this lawsuit and its purpose of protecting voters’ rights and can be verified.

And this raises the question. If the national Republican party really believed their economic recovery plan was so great for the country, why aren’t they give us the details of their plan instead of inventing new ways to cheat their way to a win.
