Answering Hillary Attacks

Posted on September 14, 2015

This is the season for attacking Hillary Clinton, and the attackers are having a field day in regard to Benghazi and a personal e-mail account.

Maybe a few facts are not widely known.

The company that managed Clinton’s private e-mail server says it has no knowledge that the server was “wiped” which could mean that more than 30,000 e-mails Clinton says she deleted can be recovered by the FBI that has the hard drive, according to an Associated Press story.

The fact is Clinton had the right to delete messages from her personal e-mail account that she deemed non-work related while she was Secretary of State, according to US Department of Justice in a court filing in response to the Judicial Watch lawsuit.

The conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch is seeking access to all of Clinton’s emails while she was Secretary of State under the Freedom of Information Act; however, the group is not privy to Clinton’s private e-mails nor work related e-mails now classified by the State Department.

Also, it was revealed that President Bill Clinton paid a State Department staffer to maintain Hillary’s  private e-mail server that she used while heading the agency.

It is not unusual for a State Department information technician to have additional employment.

The State Department staffer, Bryan Pagliano, told the ninth congressional investigation committee on Benghazi that he would invoke the Fifth Amendment rights instead of testifying.

Clinton has testified before previous Benghazi committees. Nine such committees seems to me to be a witch hunt.

All these investigations cost money. For example, $40-million of taxpayers money was blown on the Clinton Whitewater scandal probe, so why not spend over $40-million on the Hillary e-mail scandal? It looks like the Republicans like to spend money, but for what?

One benefit for Hillary is to get these attacks out of the way before the 2016 major campaign.

No doubt the Republican presidential nominee will receive full payback attacks after he is selected.
